Los Angeles and San Diego

Our trip to Los Angeles and San Diego was our "vacation from our vacation". On Monday Chip and I wanted to be kids again and spent the day at Walt Disneyland and California Adventure parks in Los Angeles. We went "Soarin" through the park using our fast passes and enjoyed Churros while we walked through downtown Disney.

Monday night Chip and I stayed with my cousin Kathy at her beautiful home in Oceanside. We enjoyed visiting with Kathy and Sam, doing a much needed load of laundry, and showering without shower shoes!

Tuesday Chip led me through the San Diego Zoo where we spent ample time watching the elephants and giraffes. The elephants were my favorite exhibit and I was Chips favorite exhibit (Kidding... not really sure what his favorite animal was but I feel like I could easily live at the zoo). For dinner we had reservations at the Fish Market Restaurant in San Diego, one of the Almer's favorite places to eat while in San Diego, and had an amazing meal complete with Irish Coffee Mulligan's and Fish Mints.

Hodad's, La Palma, Stone Brewery, and Ballast Point came Wednesday. Maybe Chip will wander back on here to tell you more about it.. otherwise you'll just have to ask! : )
